The FUJIFILM Nationwide Photo and Video Walk is an eagerly ​anticipated annual gathering of camera enthusiasts, taking ​place simultaneously in key cities across the Philippines.

Formerly known solely as the Nationwide Photo Walk, the ​event's title has evolved to embrace videography, reflecting ​the growing interest in video creation and highlighting the ​advancements in video features in FUJIFILM cameras.

Over the years, it has emerged as one of FUJIFILM's flagship ​events nationwide, drawing participation and enthusiasm ​from photographers and videographers alike.

EVENT PROGRAM

CONTEST MECHANICS

The contest has three (3) categories:

1. The contest is open to all registered participants, including walk leaders, who have agreed to the Release ​and Waiver Agreement upon registration.
2. Winners of the Nationwide Photo and Video Walk 2023 are not eligible.
3. Participants may enter one or more categories, provided they meet the basic criteria regarding the ​camera used. FUJIFILM users may submit entries in both the Open Photo and FUJIFILM Exclusive Photo ​categories, while non-FUJIFILM users may only enter the Open Photo category.
4. Employees of FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. and their relatives up to the second degree of affinity and ​consanguinity are disqualified.

Common Guidelines:

• Date Setting: Cameras must be configured to the specific date provided by the walk leader during ​the meet-up. Incorrect dates in EXIF data will result in disqualification.
• Theme: The contest theme will be revealed by the walk leader during the meet-up. There will be ​one theme for all three categories, and submissions must adhere to this theme.
  

• Genre: Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity, as a diverse range of styles and ​approaches is welcome, provided that all entries align with the contest theme.
• Location: Participants may choose to shoot only in any location within the designated meet-up ​area where they registered, adhering to local customs and regulations. Shooting in any town or city ​outside the registered area is prohibited.
  
• Time Limit: Participants have until 2:00 PM on October 5, 2024, to shoot. Entries captured after ​this time will be disqualified.
  
• Content Restrictions: Entries must not violate copyright, privacy rights, or contain inappropriate ​content, including obscene, sexually explicit, or political material.
  
• Agreement: By submitting an entry, participants agree to the following:
  
• To grant FUJIFILM Philippines and its partners and affiliates permission to use submitted ​photos and/or videos for marketing or advertising purposes.
  
• To release FUJIFILM Philippines from all liabilities associated with the capture and use of the ​submitted photos and/or videos.
  
• Short List: Shortlisted participants will be notified via email and must provide original, full-​resolution files.
  
• Disqualification Clause: FUJIFILM Philippines reserves the right to disqualify any photograph or ​image at any time for any reason, including but not limited to failure to comply with the stated ​requirements.
  

1. Equipment: Any brand of DSLR or mirrorless camera is allowed, including tripods and flash ​units. Mobile phones, drones, action cameras, 360 cameras and film cameras are ​prohibited.
2. Editing: No post-processing is allowed; photos must be straight out of the camera. In-​camera raw processing is acceptable.
   
3. Submission: Photos must be submitted on or before October 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM via ​designated links for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao participants. Only one submission per ​participant is allowed. Photos should be in JPEG format with viewable metadata and may ​be resized for uploading.

• Equipment: Only FUJIFILM cameras and lenses are allowed, along with tripods and flash ​units. The use of other camera brands, third-party lenses, mobile phones, drones, action ​cameras, 360 cameras and film cameras is prohibited.
• Shooting Requirement: Participants must utilize the Double/Multiple Exposure feature of ​their cameras. Entries not shot using this feature will be disqualified.
  

• Editing: No post-processing is allowed; submitted photos must be straight out of the ​camera. In-camera raw processing is acceptable.
• Submission: Photos must be submitted on or before October 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM via ​https://forms.gle/Cj5MwAG84xEqVNf87. Only one submission per participant is ​permitted. Photos should be in JPEG format with viewable metadata and may be ​resized for uploading.
  

• Equipment: Only FUJIFILM camera is allowed, along with Fujinon/3rd party lenses, ​tripods, stabilizers, or external microphones. Other camera brands and mobile devices ​are prohibited.
• Editing: Participants may use any editing software, ensuring the final film is exactly 30 ​seconds or less, including credits.
  
• Music: Royalty-free music or original soundtracks are permitted; shortlisted ​participants must provide a copy of the music license.
  
• Format and Resolution: Videos must have a resolution of at least 1080p (Full HD) and ​can use any standard aspect ratio.
  
• Submission: Completed short films must be uploaded to YouTube as unlisted links. ​Participants must submit the link via https://forms.gle/niNeZXSjzWZVBjtS7 on or before ​October 6, 2024, at 11:59PM
  

1. FUJIFILM Philippines will conduct an initial assessment to ensure that entries adhere to ​the fundamental criteria outlined below. Entries that do not meet these criteria will be ​disqualified.
• Submission Date and Time: Entries must be received by the designated deadline.
  
• Video Duration: Videos must not exceed 30 seconds.
  
• FUJIFILM Exclusive Photo Category Shooting Requirements: Entries must showcase ​double/multiple exposure as specified.
  
2. FUJIFILM Philippines will then create a shortlist of entries for each category as follows:
   
• Open Photo Category: Luzon - 50 Entries, Visayas - 50 Entries, Mindanao - 50 Entries
  
• FUJIFILM Exclusive Category: Video - 25 Entries, Photo - 50 Entries
  
3. Shortlisted participants will be notified via email by FUJIFILM Philippines and will be ​required to provide original, full-resolution files. Failure to submit these files or meet the ​stipulated requirements will result in automatic disqualification:

4. Shortlisted entries with verified metadata and date settings will advance to the final ​judging.

3. There will be three winners in the Open Photo Category—one from Luzon, one from ​Visayas, and one from Mindanao. There will be one winner each in the FUJIFILM Exclusive ​Photo and Video Categories.
   
4. The decision of the judges is final and not subject to appeal.
   
5. A participant may only win in one category.
   
6. The announcement of winners will be on October 12, 2024, and will be posted on the ​official FUJIFILM Philippines Facebook page and Instagram.

• I’ve already registered. Can I change my location?
• No, once you submit your registration, the details are final and recorded. Resubmissions will ​not be accepted.
  
• When will I receive my confirmation email?
  
• All confirmation emails will be sent out on October 3, 2024.
  
• Do I need to pay anything to join in?
  
• No. This event is FREE. Please report anyone asking for payment to join the event to ​xps.ffph@fujifilm.com.

• Yes! The walk leaders will be giving out free limited edition t-shirts on a FIRST COME, FIRST ​SERVE basis until supplies last.
  
• Do I need to be a FUJIFILM user to join?
  
• No, the FUJIFILM Nationwide Photo & Video Walk 2024 is open to all camera brand users.
  
• I’m a beginner, can I join too?
  
• Yes! Photographers of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join in.
  
• I only have my smartphone. Can I still join?
  
• You will need to have a digital camera to join the contest. You may join the photowalk itself but ​you will be ineligible to compete.
